Recent developments in Syria

According to a media report, anti-government forces shot down a Syrian military helicopter near Saraqib in the Syrian province of Idlib. The report said, Hayat Tahrir al-sham shot down a Syrian military helicopter and the episode took place while intense fighting between the Syrian Army and anti-government forces is ongoing.

In another development, pro -government sources claims that units of the Syrian Army entered the Rashidin 4 area in western Aleppo and it recaptured areas from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham-led forces.

It is also reported in the media that a joint convoy of anti-government forces and Turkish forces were targeted by airstrikes near the town of Atarib. Fighting is ongoing in Rashidin 4 bemtween pro-government and anti-government forces.
